One week between friends
Good news!! Sophie just spend ten days on the boat. This will only be of short navigations, nothing better to get used to the movements of the catamaran...
Wednesday 13 April – Mykonos and l ’ island of Rinia
Sophie embarked at the port of Mykonos and quickly leave the dock in the direction of Nisos Rinia (West), in the Bay of Skinou. First bath in a turquoise water even a little fresh.
It makes hunger and to think to make bread for the next day... without machine bread!
Friday 15 April - Delos
The island of Delos is a 'Holy' place. It is the birthplace of Apollo and his sister Artémis. It is uninhabited only archaeologists have the right to spend the night.

It is the realm of lizards who seem to love the marble to be Brown...
The prospect is a maze of sections of walls and marble blocks in the middle of which stand a few columns and reproductions of statues...
with at the bend of a driveway a theatre or an old House whose mosaics are restored.
An impressive succession of busts and body stripped to the Museum.." What make us your head spin" (Philippe: Finally, not for everyone!).
Museum visits are not too much what we appreciate the most, but this site is wonderful and we have pleasure to wander and imagine what this could be there 2000 years!
A light breeze from the North rises, We would like to exit the gennaker and let us pushed to Paros Island a little more to the South.
Sunday 17 April – Paros Island
Flat calm in the Agiou Ioanniou Bay which is North of Paros. In the morning we woke up by the puff-puff of a fishing vessel which dates back its nets. We will visit the village of Naousa and take the opportunity to do some shopping.
Monday 18 April - Antiparos and Despotiko
We continue our route towards the South. Break swimming and lunch at the South of nisos Kavouras, between Paros and Antiparos. We spend the night in the well protected between Antiparos and Despotiko Bay. The passage between the 2 Islands is not very deep, a person at the front of the boat is necessary to guide the crossing.

Tuesday 19 April – Koufonisia island
Mooring in the Bay of Pissina, North Island. Along the coast, We cross the Jade boat met for Arki - the opportunity of a photo of Tao under sail.
Tonight Nathalie prepared us a chicken coconut...
The motto of Sophie... "never leave nothing on his plate" - ca should not be too bad!
Sophie is full of energy for cooking the next day a quiche lorraine... yum! yum!!
North of our mooring we spot a Bay surrounded by cliffs... we will be back!
Wednesday 20 April - Skinousa island
Weather announcement of wind force 6. The best shelters is the Bay of Myrsini in the South East of the island. While the wind blows, Philippe remains on board and ashore we file history to walk to the village drinking a coffee and eat a pancake chocolate.
Friday 22 April - Amorgos island
A wind of 20/25 knots downwind takes us up to Katapola to the West of the island. We have no other choice than to moor alongside the wharf, the Bay is occupied by 2 sailboats and we wet nearby would impede the operation of ferries.
Sophie makes us the surprise of rent quads. I really want to drive one day such device, Thank you thank you...
We go back to visit the monastery and drink the raiki with the "Pop"..
After this small glass a swimming stop stands at the foot of the cliffs.
Then we go back on our gear and continue to the North of the island...

We hope to find a quiet place to picnic in road. We arrive in a small Bay where a fisherman installs its fishing rods. Too happy to see the world and especially 2 women with a man, He comes to meet us. Communication is difficult it speaks only Greek, but we understand that he'd take the pretty brunette in his cabin...
as soon as finished lunch we go back in "Chump". From the morning we travelled quite some kilometres, and the gauges of gasoline decreased eyes. We return to the Chora fill gasoline tanks.
The sun goes to bed in 1 h or 2, but we take the time to stop at the small fishing port of Yiallis( North West) to have a last drink while contemplating the sunset.
A very nice busy day ends.
The next day, stroll on the heights of the island... Sophie saves a kid lost and stuck in the bushes.

A good week ends and the next day we accompany Sophie to the Ferry that back to "civilization".
Tuesday 26 April - island of Nikouria
Before permanently leaving Amorgos we do a last berth East of Amorgos, sheltered behind desert island of Nikoura.
Early may, Catherine, Philippe's sister comes to us we have to get it back to Mykonos!!!
